Prescient Warning

I do not need to know and yet I know.
I do not want to know and yet I know.
I have no need to see and yet I see.
In signs and dreams, plain as can be.
I walk those roads beyond reality.
And I know.  Yes, I know.  I do know.
And you should be ashamed of yourself.
What lies you tell that mar the light
That was once you and shined so bright.
What stories you tell and believe as well
Of times and places and names of what befell.
But in the end, it was made clear.
Not from my mouth but yours, my dear.
