The Valentine Commission

If I knew the words to say to make you love me,
I would say them a thousand times and more each day.
And every word said as sincere as I can ever be,
My every thought is only for you to stay.

And if I sought the words to say how much I love you,
I would write a thousand years and more yet still.
I could not finish all my thoughts; if you only knew,
How you fill my being with all your self and more until.

Nothing exists of me but you and you alone,
I look for myself and still call your name.
And there is no part of my heart you do not own,
And if I lost you, my heart is never the same.

If my love for you was a castle in the sky.
Then every room in that castle was a picture you.
In every picture of you is a song without reply,
And every song a rainbow emotion of every hue.

But I see deep down that you could walk away.
That you could not see you the way I see you.
And I will do nothing to ask you to stay,
If you cannot see me the way I see you.
